Operating the 50 Convertible is a pleasure. An oversized flybridge with two helm chairs and two bench seats provide seating for captain and six guests. A pod-style helm with recessed electronics box and single-lever controls will please any captain, and an electronics suite complete with depth sounder, chart plotter, VHF and autopilot are included as standard equipment.
In the 135-square-foot cockpit, fishability comes standard in the form of a large bait freezer, oversized fish box and a complete bait and tackle center. |

What do most boaters expect from a mid-size convertible? It's simple really: good performance and comfortable accommodations in a boat that's small enough to operate without a full-time crew. The Hatteras 50 Convertible provides just that, plus a whole lot more.
Thanks to recent design enhancements, the 50 Convertible competes with any builder on the performance front with a 36-knot cruise and 40-knot top end. And unlike the "go fast" boats that emphasize speed at the price of hull strength, the solidly built Hatteras 50 will keep you at the front of the pack right into the teeth of a steep head sea.
Inside, the 50 provides comfort, spaciousness and luxury to spare through a proven accommodation plan, expert craftsmen, an in-house team of interior décor professionals, and a commitment to use only the highest quality materials. Thanks to an optional mid-level galley and a bow stateroom that offers a queen berth or over/under bunks, owners can customize this yacht to serve as a weekend getaway for two couples or as a home away from home for the entire family. |
